Creative Spaces--Discovering Color: Inspired by Van Gogh

PLEASE NOTE THE TIME CHANGE: THIS PROGRAM WILL START AT 4:00 PM

Slow down and discover the colors hiding in plain sight. Inspired by the changing colors of fall and Vincent van Gogh’s expressive use of color, participants will observe real autumn leaves, discover the different colors within them, and experiment with creating and blending their own color palettes using oil pastels. We’ll then explore how Van Gogh used color, light, movement, and expressive marks before creating our own colorful interpretation on canvas. No art experience needed—just come ready to observe, experiment, and create.
